All Programs : Women's Health : Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program (OPOP)

Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program (OPOP)

A primary prevention program designed to help pregnant women make informed, healthy lifestyle choices for healthy babies. To be enrolled in this program, the woman must be under the care of a physician.  Monthly visits include:

 

Nursing Services
•Health history
•Health assessment
•Lifestyle guidance
•Risk avoidance
•Pregnancy and child care education

Social Work Services
•Social assessment
•Explore options
•Limited counseling
•Referral to available resources

Dietitian Services
•Nutrition assessment
•Nutrition guidance
•Breastfeeding information
•Prenatal vitamins

Services are provided at no charge and clinics are held the first two Monday afternoons and the first three Thursday mornings of each month in Minot.
