National Drug Take Back Day - Saturday, April 30

Take Back Day is a key step in helping reduce the rise of opioid deaths, overdoses, and addiction by getting rid of unneeded and expired prescriptions. 51.3% of people (age 12+) who misuse pain relievers got them from a friend or relative. The more prescription opioid medication is available, the higher likelihood of misuse.  It is important dispose of unused medication, so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.
