Hantavirus-Related Death Reported in ND - August 28th, 2018
People can be exposed to hantavirus by breathing in air contaminated with the virus when fresh rodent dropping, urine, or nesting materials are disturbed. The greatest risk is associated with exposure to rodent droppings in closed, dry areas. Hantavirus is not transmitted from person to person. Take these steps to help keep safe from this deadly virus.

Meningococcal B-Who Is At Risk? - April 3rd, 2018
Anyone can be infected with meningococcal disease. Adolescents and young adults are less likely than infants to be infected, but they are more likely to die from the infection. Although college students in general are not at a higher risk than other persons of the same age, there have been 3 outbreaks - and 2 deaths- on college campuses since 2008.
